There are a lot of voices telling young people what to believe about pregnancy, abortion and their bodies.
LaVie is committed to being a trusted voice providing education, medical care, resources and compassionate support before a crisis ever happens.
Freddie was 18 when she found herself
unexpectedly pregnant.
The abortion clinic was the only resource she knew about. It was the option recommended by the people around her. She didn’t feel like she understood all of her options or what the experience would be like.
“I wish I had known.”
Today, she looks back and wonders what might have been different if she had been more informed and supported.

Before a young person ever walks into a medical clinic, she may already have been exposed to hundreds of messages about sex, pregnancy and abortion.
The question isn’t whether young people are getting information.
They are.
The question is whether they are getting information they can trust.
LaVie is taking education and care into the community.
Through outreach to schools, youth groups, sports programs and other community settings, LaVie is working to make sure young people know where they can find trustworthy information and compassionate support before they need it.
LaVie is expanding opportunities for:

A young person shouldn’t have to discover LaVie only after an unexpected pregnancy.
We want them to know us before they need us. We want them to know where to find answers. We want them to know they have options. We want them to know someone will listen. And we want them to know they aren’t alone.
Your gift helps LaVie take education, medical care, resources and compassionate support directly into the community.
It helps us reach young people before the crisis, when there is still time to educate, prepare and build trust.
