Dear LaVie Friends,
Individuals walk through the doors of LaVie daily, seeking relief from the storm they are facing. They may feel alone, unworthy, hopeless, and sometimes indignant at the possibility of being pregnant. Perhaps it’s only one person, or upwards of ten or more, but regardless of the number of patients being seen in a day, “first responders” at LaVie will help make these anxious individuals feel like they have come to the right place.
As a pregnant woman considers her options for the precious life inside her womb, LaVie’s team are often the first faces she sees, the voices she hears, and the hearts she confides in. Influencing what can feel like an unalterable decision is a tremendous responsibility. But God…
By the time you read this, Tuesday November 5th will have come and gone and LaVie is still here. The results of the election did not remove the necessity for the life-changing and life-saving, no-cost services LaVie offers our community. We know that no matter the outcome of any election or the decisions our patients make for their pregnancies, we can have hope in Jesus Christ. It’s because of this hope we are able to emulate His love with every patient and continue to proclaim that every life matters and is fully known by God. Your support has allowed us to be a refuge for thousands over the past 34 years. On behalf of our“first responders”, LaVie’s Board and volunteers, and our patients – including those whose voices cannot yet be heard, thank you for your unwavering support and prayers. We are thankful for each of you and, with your continued support, LaVie will be able to serve those in need for generations to come. Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving!
