Thank you Dr. Roberts, for giving LaVie your time, talents, and financial resources in support of this life-saving ministry for so many years. We are grateful to have worked along side you and been a part of yours and Cindy’s life. We are excited to see you fully enjoy retirement and will miss working with you more than words can convey. Thank you for providing our patients with compassionate support and for being such a strong advocate for life.
“Working at LaVie has meant a lot to me because of the fact that we are working to save lives. Some of the patients I see have had a past roll in an abortion. These patients are experiencing all sorts of grief, sorrow, often times depression, inability to hold onto a marriage, inability to bond with children. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to speak into these people’s lives and refer them for further counseling. What can be of great help to them are Rachel’s Vineyard retreats and bible studies such as, “Forgiven and Set Free”. I am so glad to have the opportunity to feel that, maybe, I’ve helped someone in an area where they really needed help. It’s also been important to me that LaVie provides Sport Physicals. It’s given me an opportunity to talk with and encourage young men and women.
One memory of patient care that will always stick with me was when I was asked to see a woman who was threatening to leave the clinic and commit suicide. Within a few minutes talking with her, it was obvious the help that she wanted, although she might not have been able to put it into words, was to know the Lord. I shared the gospel with her 15-20 minutes before the police arrived. Before she left LaVie she had accepted Christ and no longer wanted to commit suicide.
Donors, thank you for being apart of what God is doing at LaVie. You are a part of a ministry ;a ministry that couldn’t exist without you. I would ask you not just to give financially but to give of yourself and to keep us in your prayers.
Dr. Roberts
